Have Your Sins Been Forgiven by God?
The Bible and our conscience proclaim that we have all sinned against God. A sinful nature is a
part of who we are, and we are deserving of God’s justice against sin. But His desire is to forgive
us and transform our lives instead of punishing us for our sins. Since we have all sinned against God, He is ultimately the source of forgiveness and salvation.
(Read Romans 3:23; 5:12; 6:23, 1 Timothy 2:3-4, and 1 John 1:8-10.)
Do You Recognize Your Inability to Save Yourself?
We are incapable of achieving our own salvation or earning God’s forgiveness. No amount of
religious effort or “good deeds” done by us is enough to make things right between God and us. However, God still loves us and provides salvation through His Son, Jesus.
(Read Psalm 53:1-3, Romans 3:10-12, Ephesians 2:8-9, and John 3:16.)
Are You Willing to Trust Jesus to Save You?
Believing that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died and arose from death for your sins is a
choice that only you can make for yourself. If you are willing to trust Jesus as your Savior, God
is willing to forgive all your sins, impart His Holy Spirit to you, and spiritually bring you back to
life and into His family as His child. Through faith in Jesus, you are promised God’s amazing gift of eternal life and will live with Him forever!
(Read John 1:12, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 1:13-14, and 1 John 5:13.)
